Turner's Take: Tokoto Rising
Posted Oct 10, 2014
Last season, J.P. Tokoto showed that he was more than just a dunk contest winner, that he was a tenacious on-ball defender (he was second in the ACC in steals and earned ACC All-Defensive team honors) and a high-flying rebounder. He displayed a reliable jumper and retained the ability to slash and elevate. Tokoto is third among Tar Heel returning players in points (9.3 a year ago) and rebounds (5.8).
