Demoted Syracuse football assistant apologizes for 'frustrated' comments

In the wake of Syracuse 's heavy home defeat to Louisville, Orange coach Scott Shafer shook up his coaching staff, demoting offensive coordinator George McDonald to wide receivers coach and naming quarterbacks coach Tim Lester the team's new play-caller. McDonald didn't take that so well, as he told syracuse.com Tuesday night.
