Tar Heels Searching For Momentum

At this point last year, North Carolina used a close loss on national television to spur a surprising turnaround. Now UNC (2-4, 0-2 ACC) hopes the positive momentum from its 50-43 loss at No. 5 Notre Dame last Saturday will lead to a similar second-half resurgence. The Tar Heels were 1-5 last year after losing an ESPN Thursday-night game against Miami in the final minute but finished 7-6. (Durham Herald-Sun)
