New season finds Harrison Barnes in familiar Iowa setting

The last time Harrison Barnes was at Wells Fargo Arena, he was clinching a second-straight undefeated state championship season for the Ames boys’ basketball team. When he returns there Thursday for a preseason NBA contest pitting his Golden State Warriors against the Denver Nuggets, the stakes won’t be quite the same, but Barnes will have plenty to prove nonetheless.
