Report aftermath: No closure for UNC athletics

With the release of Kenneth Wainstein’s report detailing the paper class system in the UNC Department of African and Afro-American Studies, the academic side of campus can begin the process of moving on. But there will be no such closure for the athletic side, which is in the midst of an NCAA investigation and must deal with the unsettling reality of how responsible UNC’s athletic advising staff was for pushing athletes to the fraudulent courses.
