UNC beats Fayetteville State 111-58 in exhibition

Freshman Justin Jackson scored 18 points to help North Carolina beat Fayetteville State 111-58 in its exhibition opener Friday night. Fellow rookie Theo Pinson added 15 points and eight rebounds as the Tar Heels had five players score in double figures. The Tar Heels dominated the boards by a nearly 2-to-1 margin and finished with 29 second-chance points.
