Alabama boosters pay off Nick Saban's home

Ten weeks after Alabama won the BCS National Championship game against Notre Dame in January 2013, a private foundation set up to help fund athletics at UA bought the Tuscaloosa home of Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban for nearly $3.1 million. The home, which Saban and his wife, Terry, bought in 2007, was purchased by the Crimson Tide Foundation in March 2013. The Sabans continue to live in the 8,759-square-foot home, and the foundation has paid the property taxes on the home since the purchase. (AL.com)
