UNC faces unanswered questions in recruiting

North Carolina junior Brice Johnson insists the UNC academic scandal isn't a distraction to the current basketball players because it didn't directly involve them.
It certainly is having an impact on high school standouts who are being recruited by the Tar Heels. UNC coach Roy Williams acknowledges as much. "There's no question it's already hurt us in recruiting," Williams said last week at the ACC Operation Basketball event in Charlotte.
