Luke Maye commits to UNC
Posted Nov 11, 2014
Roy Williams's first commitment in the 2015 class is Luke Maye, the 6-7 senior forward at Cornelius (N.C.) Hough confirmed on Tuesday morning. The other finalists were Clemson and Davidson. He received prior offers from Virginia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame and Gonzaga, which were no longer under consideration. Williams first began seriously recruiting Maye after getting word that Maye and Hough bested Kennedy Meeks' team in the 2013 NCHSAA state playoffs.
