Pitt/UNC Insider Q&A
Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pitt is not the only game in town (regarding sports). They played a backseat to the Steelers and Pirates when they had Dan Marino and Hugh Green and somewhat with Tony Dorsett, let alone now, with the Penguiins being good too, so fan participation reflects that. With that being said, there is not a practical way to hire a $10-million a year coach and spend millions on recruiting, assistant coaches, etc.
