The Tar Heels begin the year 1-0 after a 76-60 win over NC Central. UNC returns to action on Sunday against Robert Morris. The win was the 1,000th combined win as a college coach for UNC coach Roy Williams. It was his 725th win as a head coach (418 at Kansas and 307 at UNC). He also was on the Tar Heel bench as an assistant to Dean Smith for 275 victories. (GoHeels.com)
