With a Tar Heel win, UNC becomes bowl eligible for the third straight season and avoids a disappointment of a season that started out 2-4. The Tar Heels would also avoid the first three-game losing streak to the Blue Devils in nearly 30 years. But with a No. 25 Duke victory, David Cutcliffe’s team would be one game closer to returning to the ACC Championship.
