UNC quarterback Marquise Williams couldn’t help but laugh. Monday N.C. State safety Hakim Jones told reporters that if you hit Williams a few times “he basically almost quits because he doesn’t like to get hit.” Williams and his teammates laughed off the comments, choosing to let their play Saturday speak for UNC and Williams’ toughness.
