Tar Heels will stick to gridiron after bowling gutter balls

We've reached the point of the preseason when coaches have to get creative to keep their players fresh. About this time last year, North Carolina associate head coach John Blake waddled into a team meeting in swim trunks in advance of the Tar Heels' trip to a local pool. This time around, UNC's coaches eschewed the props Wednesday and simply told their players what they were going to do instead of practice.
