Seven-Seeded Carolina Volleyball Sweeps Hampton

The seven-seeded Tar Heels started their NCAA Tournament run with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-7) sweep over Hampton Friday night in Carmichael Arena. The win marked UNC’s 18th-straight win on the season, a school record, and the ninth time Carolina has advanced out of the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Paige Neuenfeldt produced a balanced effort against the Lady Pirates. (GoHeels.com)
