New Bern QB/S Mike Hughes rushed for 273 yards and accounted for seven touchdowns in defeating Wilmington Hoggard 49-14 in the regional round of the NCHSAA 4A playoffs. UNC QB Commit Nathan Elliott passed for 262 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in Celina's 41-34 win over Sweetwater in the quarterfinals of the Texas UIL 4A D2 playoffs.
