Mia Hamm and Nomar Garciaparra become parents

Nomar Garciaparra got a call during dinner Tuesday that his wife was close to giving birth. About six hours later, Garciaparra was at the side of Mia Hammand their newborn twin daughters in L.A. because he had a private jet on standby at Vero Beach Airport. (Los Angeles Times)
