Former Tar Heel Marvin Williams graduates from UNC

Former UNC forward Marvin Williams, an instrumental piece of the 2004-2005 Tar Heel National Championship team, graduated from UNC this weekend. Williams played only one year in Chapel Hill before begin drafted second overall in the 2005 NBA draft. Leaving UNC after only two semesters of coursework, Williams returned in the summers to earn his degree.
