Tar Heels expect tweaks on defense for bowl

North Carolina parted with associate head coach for defense Vic Koenning, but coach Larry Fedora said Monday that there’s no clear direction on schematic changes for the much-maligned defense. The Tar Heels will turn to Dan Disch, who oversees cornerbacks, to devise the defensive plan for the Quick Lane Bowl against Rutgers on Dec. 26 at Detroit. (Burlington Times News)
