UNC locked in on Rutgers

After some general practices, North Carolina has started specifically preparing for Rutgers. UNC and Rutgers will meet in the inaugural Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 26 in Detroit (4:30 p.m., ESPN). The teams will square up at Ford Field, which is where the NFL's Detroit Lions play their home games. Elijah Hood has missed time battling an injury but said he'd be ready to run.
