Tar Heels hope to hang with Eric Ebron in Detroit


The Tar Heels get to play at 's house — well, it’s more like North Carolina will run around against Rutgers in the yard where the NFL's Detroit Lions work. The inaugural Quick Lane Bowl on Friday (4:30 p.m., ESPN) between UNC and Rutgers will be played at Ford Field in Detroit. That's where Ebron, who was a UNC tight end last season, lines up as a Lion during the team’s home games. (Durham Herald-Sun)
