When the 2014 University of North Carolina football season began, the Tar Heels were ranked, had high hopes of an ACC title and senior linebacker Norkeithus Otis was on the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list. For Gastonia’s Otis, all those hopes and expectations unraveled in one false step as he was prepping for his season-opener in late August.
