Photo: UNC's Quinshad Davis out of surgery

North Carolina junior wide receiver entered Friday's bowl game one touchdown away from breaking the UNC touchdown reception record. It was not to be. Davis suffered an apparent broken leg while going up for a catch in the end zone late in the fourth quarter. The receiver from South Carolina was immediately tended to and an air cast was brought out to support the leg. (Carolina Blue)
