North Carolina coach Roy Williams did not envision starting New Year’s Day by abruptly putting an end to his first practice. And yes, in this case “first practice” implies there was a second one. An unscheduled, intense, punishment version of a second one. Junior forward Brice Johnson said it all stemmed from their lack of focus. (ESPN.com)
