Due in large part to the Tar Heels’ defensive efforts on Trevor Lacey, UNC escaped the PNC Arena with an 81-79 win against NC State. “At one point in time, their team was yelling at each other,” junior J.P. Tokoto said. “They kind of broke down, and we noticed that and just kept hitting them, kept attacking them. That’s what we look for; that’s what we thrive on — making people frustrated.”
