North Carolina head coach Roy Williams watched the 247Sports Composite No. 1 prospect Jayson Tatum Thursday night. Tatum is one of many elite prospects that UNC is pursuing in the 2016 class. The list includes Harry Giles, Dennis Smith, Bam Adebayo, and Seventh Woods. Tatum is a 6-foot-8, 190-pound small forward from St. Louis.
