Larry Brown recalls UNC head coaching situation

In the December 8th, 2014 issue of Sport Illustrated, current SMU head basketball coach and UNC alum Larry Brown recalled what transpired after Bill Guthridge retired from North Carolina in 2000. In the Q&A, Brown remembers the conversation he had with legendary UNC head coach Dean Smith and reveals that he could have been the next Tar Heel head coach. (Carolina Blue)
