Gastonia's Hunter Huss High School dedicates basketball court to Sylvia Hatchell


She’s a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee and a national champion, but Sylvia Rhyne Hatchell never has forgotten her hometown. Her hometown hasn’t forgotten her, either. Hunter Huss High School on Friday dedicated its basketball court to the North Carolina women’s basketball coach and 1970 Hunter Huss graduate who’s widely considered her high school’s greatest ambassador.
