As he promised after the lackluster win over Virginia Tech, Roy Williams canceled a planned off day for his team on Monday and instead reassembled them at the Smith Center at 9 p.m. for a film session and practice. Williams spent most of the day recruiting along with assistant coach Hubert Davis, who was the recipient of several text messages from players asking about the head coach’s mood. (GoHeels.com)
