Michael Jordan in tears as he accepts Business Person of the Year honor

An unexpectedly emotional Michael Jordan tossed aside his prepared remarks and spoke from the heart during a 10-minute speech Tuesday night to accept his award as the Charlotte Business Journal Business Person of the Year. Jordan, 51, spoke in the atrium of Time Warner Cable Arena before a sellout crowd of 350 people at the CBJ's Book of Lists Gala.
