No surprise, North Carolina was supposed to win this one, ranked No. 15 in The Associated Press Top 25 — although UNC coach Roy Williams on Sunday said he wouldn't favor his team to beat anybody, not after the way the Tar Heels played during a win against Virginia Tech. In Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday, the Tar Heels were a load down low against Wake Forest. (Durham Herald-Sun)
