UNC's Roy Williams chosen for WNC Sports Hall of Fame
Posted Jan 24, 2015
Now, at age 64, ol' Roy has been called home again, to be recognized and honored for a lifetime of success and achievement in the game he loved so much he would sneak into a Biltmore gym as a kid to shoot baskets. Williams will be the guest speaker and lone inductee into the WNC Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 54th WNC Sports Awards Banquet May 17 at Omni Grove Park Inn.
