Managing their minutes: Reduced bench means more for some Tar Heels

With more playing time for a core group of UNC players, the Tar Heels say it’s imperative that they play smart when they’re playing a lot. Justin Jackson logged 34 minutes Saturday against Florida State after playing the entire second half in the previous game against Wake Forest. This extra time for some players has developed because injuries have reduced the cast of reserves available.
