Committed to the paint, North Carolina, ranked No. 13 in The AP Top 25, got solid help from its perimeter guys and held off Syracuse 93-83 in the Dean E. Smith Center on Monday in the ACC. Nate Britt II, with a mouth full of stitches, was the difference maker with 16 points off the bench. “The little rascal was a big-time player for us,” UNC coach Roy Williams said.
