Nate Britt Has Career Night Despite Adversity

What made Nate Britt’s career-high 17 points against Syracuse so noteworthy was the adversity of loss and injury that had preceded the performance earlier this month. Not long after UNC’s 81-79 win over N.C. State on Jan. 14, Britt learned of his grandfather’s passing at the age of 81. “We were pretty close,” Britt told reporters following Monday’s 93-83 win (Inside Carolina)
