‘Ultimate haberdasher’ Milton Julian leaves behind clothing legacy

Polo jackets, tweed, loafers and Oxford shirts — the style made popular on college campuses throughout the country — brings one family’s name to the minds of many: Julian. Milton Julian, known as Chapel Hill’s “ultimate haberdasher” and the brother of Maurice Julian, passed away last Saturday at the age of 96.
