UNC tries to get rid of ghost of Xmas past
Posted Mar 23, 2007
Brandan Wright wasn't even a member of the team yet. But UNC's 74-59 loss to Southern California on Dec. 21, 2005, was so disappointing that it took away some of his Christmas cheer. UNC has a chance to avenge that defeat in the East Regional semifinals of the NCAA Tournament. The top-seeded Tar Heels play No. 5 seed USC tonight, and they haven't forgotten how miserable they were after they ran into the Trojans last season.
