There are plenty of statistics to highlight in attempting to explain No. 13 North Carolina’s collapse against No. 10 Louisville on Saturday, although there are none available to fully encompass what actually occurred. The Tar Heels combined a solid defensive effort with a control of the backboards, and even quality bench production to build a demoralizing 18-point lead with 17:51 to play.
