Sam Perkins Now International Ambassador for NBA


is now an ambassador for the NBA and recently traveled to China with the Brooklyn Nets and to Spain with Team USA for the FIBA World Cup. Perkins is no stranger to international hoops as captain of the gold medal-winning U.S. team at the 1984 Olympics. Perkins averaged 11.9 points and six rebounds over a fruitful 17-year career with the Mavericks, Lakers, Sonics and Pacers. (Lost Lettermen)
