Just when the sports world at North Carolina seemed to be reaching a new peak, life intrudes and sucks a bit of the air out of everyone. As the men's basketball team moves forward to play in the East Region semifinals after a big-time victory against Michigan State, spring football practice began under new football coach Butch Davis.
