What Dean Smith Meant to Me

I never actually met Dean Smith. A miscommunicated word likely kept me from being a basketball manager and thus part of the UNC basketball family. But I felt like I knew Dean Smith, as did Tar Heel fans everywhere. And I did have two memorable times of interacting with him that helped define his greatness beyond the basketball court.
