Butch Davis undergoes cancer treatment

Butch Davis' dentist called and reminded him to stop by for a visit the next time he was in Cleveland. As it turned out, Dr. David Koski did more for Davis than clean his teeth. Davis, who is entering his first season as North Carolina's football coach, revealed Tuesday afternoon that Koski found a growth in his mouth last month. Tests determined that the growth contained non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer of the body's immune system.
