Playing tournament games at 9:57 is 'dumb as dirt'
Posted Mar 21, 2007
There were several questions I wanted to ask UNC coach Roy Williams on Tuesday, but none more interesting than what he thought about Friday's "approximate" 9:57 p.m. starting time against Southern California at East Rutherford, N.J. I hate it. You should hate it. In their infinite wisdom, the NCAA and CBS figure "approximate" 9:57 starting times for Sweet 16 games in the NCAA Tournament must be good for Americans wherever we live.
