Kyle Seager’s continued growth at third base

After signing a seven-year, $100 million contract extension this offseason, Kyle Seager is locked in as the Mariners’ third baseman. Seager was never a big prospect or even considered to be a prototypical third baseman. But he was given an opportunity to take ownership of the job, and he produced. This past season he appeared in his first all-star game and won his first gold glove.
