UNC player remembers night Dean Smith hanged in effigy

Former North Carolina player Billy Galantai, who ripped down a dummy of Coach Dean Smith hanged in effigy on the UNC campus, never doubted Smith would turn the Tar Heels around. In the winter of 1965, many Carolina fans -- and students -- questioned whether Smith could make the Tar Heels into winners. (WNCN)
