Kevin Madden remembers Dean Smith

Dean Smith's basketball reach circled the globe, and Staunton is one of the places the iconic former University of North Carolina head coach touched — a touch that will never be forgotten. Paul Hatcher and Kevin Madden each consider themselves blessed to have had Smith, who died Saturday night at age 83, in their lives (The News Leader)
