Meeks heeds message, returns to starter status with Tar Heels

Kennedy Meeks hasn’t hidden the incentive behind his increased productivity. Coach Roy Williams’ decision to remove him from North Carolina’s first unit and sit him on the bench at the start of two recent games didn’t sit well with the sophomore forward. “Being put on the bench was motivation in itself,” he said.
