This is Blue Heaven, where Dean Smith built a program of unparalleled success that went 37 consecutive years without finishing outside the ACC’s top three, a stretch that included a combined 28 league titles. Is 68-30 (34-17 in the ACC) the past three years good enough? It would be in most places. But in Chapel Hill, it is a step back from what is expected and has been established.
