How Brendan Haywood handled the trade deadline with humor

Before entering the extended All-Star break, Brendan Haywood humorously suggested he would spend the day of the trade deadline in his North Carolina bed with the covers over his face. From time to time he would peek out to get a glimpse of the latest news on the TV screen. He would be checking to see if he was being shipped out. "No joke," Haywood said with a big chuckle.
