Tyler Hansbrough took off his protective facemask last night, and North Carolina took off for the NCAA Tournament East Regional semifinals. With Hansbrough, a sophomore center, leading the way with a season high 33 points, North Carolina downed Michigan State 81-67 at Joel Coliseum in the second round. (Winston-Salem Journal)
